Nice spacious apartment, very well equiped. Washing machine, dishwasher is provided. It was good that we could was our things and dry it as well. It is close to many hiking route. First I wanted to stay at Mount Cook village, but it was ok, to drive there for a day hike. So I do not regret it. I highly recommend this motel.

Set in Mount Cook National Park, a range of accommodation including motel rooms and lodge rooms are on offer at Mt Cook Lodge and Motels. Amazing views, 10/10 food! Super worth it, also the pillows were amazing which is rare for a hotel.

Mountain Chalets is just 5 minutes’ drive from Lake Ruataniwha. It features a barbecue area with outdoor seating and unlimited free WiFi. Free parking is available on site. Great value for simple place to stay. Nothing extraordinary but met our expectations and we'd stay there again.

Situated in the centre of the village, Lake Tekapo Village Motel offers rooms with lake views. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. Twizel is a 40-minute drive from the property. Room was comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely view from the balcony. Great location right in the village.

The host was super kind and the room was well equipped and clean. What I liked the most is its heating system. I was coming down with flu but thanks to the heating mattress and the heater, I got much better. I was a little worried about the noise when booking since it's close to the road but it was quiet.
