Check-in was also speedy and owner as always gave a bottle of milk though we are lactose intolerant.

Situated in the centre of the village, Lake Tekapo Village Motel offers rooms with lake views. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. Twizel is a 40-minute drive from the property. Location is very good. Beside the lake, and very close to restaurants and a supermarket. Parking is convenient.

Mountain Chalets is just 5 minutes’ drive from Lake Ruataniwha. It features a barbecue area with outdoor seating and unlimited free WiFi. Free parking is available on site. Nice cabin. Excellent price. Just aside the main road.
