Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. Helen and Gary were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of snow mountains from the room . So wonderful. The room was also very warm and the bed was verg comfortable. We will be staying here every time when we go back again. Thank you Helan and Gary.

Set in the peaceful countryside of Omarama, ASURE Sierra Motel offers heated rooms featuring a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Some rooms offer mountain views. Very spacious studio with all the amenities you may need. Very comfortable beds, excellent location close to supermarket and restaurants. Front desk staff was very welcoming too. Excellent value for money

Situated in the centre of the village, Lake Tekapo Village Motel offers rooms with lake views. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. Twizel is a 40-minute drive from the property. The Motel is in front of the Lake Tekapo, less than10 minute-walk to the church. We can get to there to enjoy the night sky easily on foot. And the supermarket is just 2 minute-walk. We got to the motel at nine pm on the Christmas Eve, that we didn't notice the reception time is till 8 pm, but Lyn was waiting for us welcoming with big smile. The room is very cozy, very clean and the bed is perfect! We'd like to stay again here!!

Mountain Chalets is just 5 minutes’ drive from Lake Ruataniwha. It features a barbecue area with outdoor seating and unlimited free WiFi. Free parking is available on site. Wonderful location (right in front of the lake!), amazing staff (Robin gave me awesome travelling advice and my road trip through NZ became ever better), great room (the shower pressure was superb, comfy beds and fully-equipped kitchen). Bonus: Tui spend the whole day singing nearby!

Set in Twizel, Twizel Central Studio Accommodation features a garden. The motel also offers free WiFi and free private parking. The units in the motel are equipped with a kettle. The location in central Twizel was fantastic. Easy walk to everything you need. Grocery, Bakery, Restaurants etc. The hotel grounds were fantastic. Nice table right outside the room

Conveniently located next to a historical pub and restaurant, Mt Dobson Motel offers self-catering accommodation with unlimited free WiFi. This delightful (and tiny, 5 room) motel was the perfect stop for us. We were not looking to city walk in the evening, but if we were, it was about 30 minutes away from Lake Tekapo. Instead we went to dinner at a delightful restaurant in nearby Fairlie (6 minutes), the only town of consequence. (Kimbell is not a town, just a spot on the map.) We could also have had dinner at the delightful Silverstream Hotel, which is not related to the Mt. Dobson Motel although they share a parking lot. The room was very large and had a full kitchen which would have been very useful if our stay was more than one night. It was a bit of step-back-in-time furnishings but impeccably clean. On our way out of town the next day we stopped at the Fairlie Heritage Museum and learned a lot about the area. They had a section devoted to the Hamilton Jet boat engine... this company invented the jet boat and is the world's largest manufacturer of them; he got his start here! That was a delightful (unresearched) surprise! It has a little cafe as well. We also ate at the popular Fairlie Bakeshop in town.

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Lovely quiet secluded location yet on the main road. Warm and comfortable and everything you need for a one night stopover. Good value for money
