This was a business trip and the technician worked late into the night. The motel host offered a late check-out which is very kind.
We were caught in a cyclone and had to stay 3 extra nights in an unfamiliar town and stuck in our room for the majority of the time (with a newborn) . So we were so glad we picked this motel they were welcoming, clean and had everything you need * free wifi , my partner enjoyed the Sky sports to watch the state of origin and I enjoyed free WiFi aswell as the comfy beds plus aircon was great to keep baby warm during the storm. Thanks for having us.
We received a warm, friendly welcome from the lovely lady at reception! We like the convenient location and plenty of parking. The room was very small but warm & cosy with everything required for an overnight stay. A very clean & tidy motel.

The booking, reception, car parking, Room were all excellent. I have stayed in Gisborne many times but never at Alfresco Motor Lodge, next time we visit Gisborne we will stay at the Alfresco Motor Lodge.
Very comfortable and conveniently located. The couple who run the motel are very friendly and helpful. The unit was spotless and the bed comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending this place .
This motel had all the facilities we needed, a convenient location with a great view along with a very well thought out interior design revamp in this interesting older block of motel units, they have great vision.
