As a group, we planned to visit Mt.Ruapehu to tour around the snow mountains. We looked for a motel not too far away , to stop over and rest for the night, so we could start off early the next morning.
Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood, on the outskirts of Turangi & Tokaanu, Oasis Motels & Holiday Park was very comfortable and beyond our expectations. We booked their Family Suite, which was spacious enough to accommodate the 4 of us.
The staff at the front desk greeted us with a smile and patiently waited until our arrival. He guided well about the facilities in the resort. Everything was well kept and the kitchen had the essential cutlery & crockery to cook meals.
To our surprise, they had hot pools ( Private as well) with 24hr access and it was a soothing experience to take a dip in the mineral rich water amidst the freezing weather 😁
We stayed past nearly an hour after our check-out time, but the staff were extremely polite and friendly and waited patiently until we could pack up our bags.
We just had a tiny bit of a delay, because the induction stove heated slowly while preparing our food, other than that we didn’t have any issues with our stay.
Overall we had a really pleasant and enjoyable time at Oasis and would definitely recommend this to our friends and family!!! :)))

The Delux apartment was spacious and clean.The bed was comfortable with warm coverings and electric blankets if needed.The heat pump worked well.Very good kitchen facilities.The shower had good pressure and plentifull hot water.The motel is in walking distance to Turangi shopping centre and a cafe and takeaway shop is over the road.
We were in a newly renovated Delux Apartment which was spacious,clean and comfortable.The beds were comfortable and warm.All facilities worked well and the heat pump heated the room well on the very cold night.The motel is within walking distance to shopping centre and a cafe across the road.Staff at this motel are always accomodating and pleasant.
This Motel is a hidden gem , The Rooms have been fully renovated and excellent value for money . We dined at the restaurant , The food was superb and very good value
The facilities in the room were adequate and everything was clean and tidy.The shower was very good and there was always hot water.The motel is close to Turangi shopping area.A cafe is across the road from motel that also does pizza and various takeaway foods.Although the heat pump wasn't working a 10 fin gas heater was supplied which heated the room nicely.

The people of the motel were very friendly. There was a deck at the back that was really a very nice place to sit and relax after a long drive. The place is also very quiet.
