We are located on the safest routes to and from Addo Park, including leading up to the lodge. We are centrally located in Addo area between the Garden Route and R62, for those planning round trip back to, or coming from Outdshoorn. If you do travel from Port-Elizabeth, please drive via R75 to us. Absolute dream stay in the middle of the landscape. Animals around the tent, opposite a whole family of giraffes. Mike gives lots of tips for excursions, Addo Park and everything you want to know. Very nice breakfast with nothing missing, even Mike's special fruit salad, Be sure to try the braii in the evening, Mike is the grill master and Mariejke conjures up the finest side dishes and delicious desserts. We will remember this fantastic place for a long time, thank you both.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the chalets are comfortable, have a fridge filled with refreshments, WIFI is superb. But best of all is the spectacular view. You can sit on the terrace of your chalet and keep watching the beautiful landscape, mountains, valleys and spectacular stars at night. There is a family style dinner served in the evening and a very pleasant breakfast. The place also has some zebras. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.A very good base for the Addo Elephant park and I enjoyed also the Scotia safari.

They were extremely attentive and covered my expenses in the other place which was equally good and equipped! I look forward to stay at Charihandra in the future!
