The location to the park is great. Host Brian and Jenny and Dimitri were fantastic. Breakfast could have been more exciting, but they did say they were catering for the overseas market who just like continental.

The staff were awesome, very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. Food was fab. Our tent had the BEST bed I think I’ve ever slept in and Lucy drinking from the pool was the icing on the cake!! We LOVED our stay at Chariandra ❤️

Our stay at Chrislin African Lodge was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, we had an amazing time filled with exciting activities organized in collaboration with Crisscross Adventures. Ivy and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, always making us laugh and going out of their way to accommodate our requests, which truly elevated our experience.
The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that ensured a great night’s sleep. Each room was equipped with air conditioning, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. We especially loved the outside area, which offered stunning views of the beautiful garden and farm—a perfect spot to unwind.
The breakfasts were well-organized and delicious, while the dinners were nothing short of divine. The campfire evenings and the refreshing swimming pool added a magical touch, making our stay unforgettable.
If you're planning a visit to Addo, look no further than Chrislin. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a sunrise game drive in the morning, relax by the pool in the afternoon, and even embark on a memorable boat tour in Colchester. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, beautiful room, close to addo, very tasty restaurant
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Beautiful house with inside parking also super close to addo elephant park. The owner was very kind and helpful. She helped us booking our safari and gave us packed breakfast because we were living early. Very close to the only restaurant there is in the city
Had an amazing stay at Parkview Safari Lodge. Located close to the southern entrance to Addo the lodge was very peaceful and luxurious, simply superb. Staff were friendly and helpful and would certainly recommend this lodge for anyone looking to stay whilst visiting Addo Elephant Park.
Our room at the Elephants Footprint Lodge was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and good equipped.
Supportive and friendly staff.
Breakfast is amazing. Fresh products and delicious preparation.
We would definitely recommend it and come back.
It was a great adventure sleeping in one of the tents right next to Addo Park fence. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights during our Safari trip to Addo. The lodge is right next to the Parks south gate.
The Lodge gives you an African safari "experience" nice large rooms and very close to Addo Park entrance.
Nice and friendly manager with a lot of knowledge about the park and animals.
We loved it all: the safari lodge style, the self-service bar, the room with the waterfall-like outdoor shower (view protected), the very good breakfast, the super tasty dinner - and the sympatic hosts! :-)
Beautiful lodge. Everything clean, very friendly staff and situated very close to the Addo NP. Many valuable information for tours. The breakfast was excellent with homemade rolls and whatever else you need. But the best was the 3 course dinner. We had fantastic Kudu, Ostrich and Warthog, prepared in different ways with different and very tasty sides! In a nutshell, one of the best lodges we have ever been to!
I have always wanted to stay in a safari tent and this was exceptional in my opinion. Not only was our tent right next to Addo Elephant Park where we saw a lone elephant grazing in the evening sun, but it was also supremely comfortable, appointed in a colonial style and with a deck and a separate seating area too. We had our own braai in the main lodge in the evening, the staff were really friendly and accommodating too. I only wish we had been able to stay another night!
The staff at Elephant's Footprint Lodge was super helpful. Due to a traffic jam we came back very late, but they waited and kept dinner ready for us. Additionally, they took great care of us around breakfast and helped us organise additional activities around our stay such as an amazing Safari in a Private Game Reserve.
