Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is a chalet situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea and 9.6 km from Volcano National Park's entrance. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Friendly host & was provided with great recommendations for places to visit and to eat at. Clean accommodation & friendly environment, tasty breakfast!

Located at the base of Mauna Kea Volcano, this upcountry Waimea lodge offers cable TV with work desk and fans (available upon request) . Hapuna Beach is 15 minutes’ drive away. The office closed on 8:00pm but offered an easy late check-in option which was a locker box with a code. The same if you check out early. Very convenient! There is also a restaurant looks good beside the lodge.

Charming collection of old cottages on site fronting a quiet beach. The cottages are all slightly different, but well equipped, comfortable and clean. It is charming and understated . The details on the Booking.com site really undersell the property. There are beautiful sunsets and the grounds are lovely to walk in. The property does have an independently run restaurant and bar on site. Close to the Waimea Canyon, so you can get a morning head start on other visitors.

Kalani Oceanside Retreat features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Pahoa, 2.3 km from Kehena Black Sand Beach. There is also a fridge, microwave and a kettle. Lovely cottages and the place it self. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Star glazing was an amazing experience. Enjoyed lovely sunrise every morning. Loved the idea of guest writing their experience in the cottage diary.

Located in Waimanalo, 80 metres from Waimanalo Beach and 1.3 km from Kaiona Beach Park, Waimanalo Beach Cottages provides accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and sea views. Very close to the beach 2 minutes walking, watched the sunrise every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can borrow all kinds of things for the beach (snorkel, body boards, frisbee…) for no fee. We had the best time!

Lumeria Maui is an educational retreat center located in beautiful Upcountry Maui. The staff member John was very helpful. He introduced the property and some nice restaurants in Paia to us. When I needed some ice to treat my injury because I accidentally hit the trunk lid, he helped us right away. We really appreciate his kind assistance. The breakfast was also pretty good!
