The seclusion of the cabin amongst the garden/trees and the excellent keypad locking arrangements meant that we didn't see anyone: owners or the occupants of the neighbouring lodge during our stay so it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though we knew the owners were closeby and easy to contact. Also, thoughtful little details, like the excellent Big Island travel guidebook in the cabin. Also, the filtered rainwater was delicious!

The room was amazing, very spacious with even a small kitchen, and wonderful bathroom with a cave-style double shower. In the middle of the lush green surroundings, it was the best stay of our whole trip.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The location was great and right by Volcano National Park. Super affordable and very spacious. The lodge offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. It is a beautiful setting making it very relaxing. Loved listening to the rain and frogs during the night. The room had everything we needed and more. Will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone traveling to the volcano.
