El Selous River Camp está situado en Kwangwazi y alberga un restaurante. El lodge cuenta con solárium y piscina junto al río. Hay aparcamiento privado gratuito. Marvelous view on the river with gorgeous sunset experience. We (family of 6) did a self drive tour Arusha-Moshi-Lushoto-Dar-Neyere park. The Neyerere Park is the largest park in Tanzania and much less touristy than the northern parks like Serengeti. The selous river camp is located just outside the park and offers an excellent starting position for game drives. You can stay in safari tents or cabins. We stayed for 3 days in the camp and we did 2 game drives where we were guided by a trainee guide from the park entrance. The other day we did a boat trip on the river and enjoyed some relaxing in the river camp. In the Neyere park we saw many animals, giraffes, wildebeast, Elefant, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, pelicans, baboons and many more. There are lions and leopards too, but unfortunately we did not see them. Although the Selous camp is outside the park, it does not feel like it. Hippos can be seen in the river and there is a group of elephants which regularly passes the camp. We had a close encounter with the male elephant of the group, so impressive. The staff of the Selous river camp is very friendly and supportive. The food they serve is delicious and we got nice lunch packages for our game drives. Definitely a place to visit again.

A week after our stay here, it’s still hard to put into words how to sum up our safari with Serena. From the moment we arrived at the airstrip to the moment were dropped off, Able, our guide, took great care of us. He was highly professional, highly knowledgeable, his tracking abilities are extraordinary and took us on an experience we’ll never forget. It was just the two of us for the 5 days with Able, so it felt very personalised. We also took an evening and morning boat down the river where we were rewarded with even more incredible experiences! Boatman Zak’s knowledge and spotting skills were also first class. Back at the river lodge, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and our meals overlooking the river were unforgettable. Our lodge was so spacious and extremely comfortable and we loved the outside shower

Baker Safari Company tiene vistas al río y se encuentra en Kwangwazi. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar, jardín y terraza. En el lodge, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. La amabilidad de Moises y todo el personal, la cabaña era muy bonita y cómoda. Hicimos el safari con ellos y fue una experiencia muy buena, entre otras cosas gracias a nuestro conductor Munir que fue muy profesional y agradable en todo momento

Africa Safari Selous Nyerere national park tiene vistas al jardín y se encuentra en Nyakisiku. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar, jardín y terraza. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even helping to repair our car, which would not start after we arrived. The food was tasty, varied, and plentiful.

SELOUS RIVER VIEW LODGE tiene vistas al río y se encuentra en Kwangwazi. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, bar y jardín. En el lodge, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis.
