The location, right on the beach, is unbeatable. No light pollution, the night sky shining, the only sound was wind and waves. There are miles of beach to walk along and explore. The road to the lighthouse has beautiful baobab trees, and monkeys. The tidal sand bars. The friendly staff and locals. Delicious meals, made on request. I'm vegetarian and it was easy.

Kitu Kiblu ligger i Baleni, 6,8 km från Rufiji Mafia Kilwa Marine Reserve, och erbjuder en trädgård, en terrass och en restaurang. Vissa boendeenheter har en sittgrupp och/eller en balkong. We were a group of three young people and had the best time at Kitu Kiblu!! A friend recommended this place and we never regretted it. We hade a great time, everyone is friendly and welcoming from the staff they also provide great possibility to see the whalesharks in a responsible and nice way. So all over we would definitely come back!
