El Meremeta Lodge está situado en Utende, a menos de 15 minutos en bicicleta del Mafia Island Diving, y ofrece bicicletas de uso gratuito y jardín. Hay conexión wifi gratis. Muy limpio, habitación muy amplia y cómoda. Buen aire acondicionado y agua caliente, también mosquiteras. El desayuno era bueno y tener bicis era un punto positivo. El jardín también muy agradable.

New Bweni Beach Lodge está ubicado en Baleni y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al mar, un jardín, zona de playa privada, salón compartido, una terraza y un restaurante. The location, right on the beach, is unbeatable. No light pollution, the night sky shining, the only sound was wind and waves. There are miles of beach to walk along and explore. The road to the lighthouse has beautiful baobab trees, and monkeys. The tidal sand bars. The friendly staff and locals. Delicious meals, made on request. I'm vegetarian and it was easy.

Wonderful team and great facilities! Everyone was so incredibly welcoming, supportive and friendly during our stay, taking the time to visit with us during meals and helping to accommodate our relatively packed time on Mafia. We felt truly at home and only wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the grounds. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by curious monkeys and saw several elephant shrews as a bonus to our stay. The whale shark excursions that they offer are best on the island (we tried one other operator as well), being not only efficiently run and catering to all demographics, but also very educational and responsibly run by a team that is clearly passionate and informed about the animals. Excellent adventure - thanks for making our time so special :)
