Our room was spacious and comfortable. The mattress was firm and gave us a really good night’s sleep after a long road trip. The chef created some really tasty meals.

There are several kiosks to shop if you’ll want to make your own meals.

We wanted a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay after 16 hours of flying, before and after a birding tour of ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK, and prior to the start of a safari to the larger parks. Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge fit the bill perfectly. Edith, the owner and host, saw to our every comfort and need. Our rooms were well-appointed, clean, and spacious. Meals were served home style and delicious. We enjoyed having tea and soda in the outdoor bar each evening. Edith has literally built the property and gardens with her own two hands and her pride shows and it is well justified. The views of Mt. Meru are as memorable as the warm welcome you receive from Edith and her staff. Give Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge a try if you are staying near Arusha before or after a safari.

Maasai Lodge Tanzania – Africa Amini Life is located at the foot of Kilimanjaro and is surrounded by a 200-hectare nature reserve. The lodge offers an outdoor pool and a bio-sauna. Went beyond our expectations, it was the most beautiful place we've ever stayed in, the staff are incredible, attentive and made the stay 6* From morning safari walk, too spear throwing, maasai dance and group get together around the firepit. The whole time, we felt like we were living experiencing maasi Village, with the exception of the level of subtle luxury and good standard of food.
