The staff were so warm and welcoming and paid a lot attention to details. food was excellents and drinks were great🙂. They made us a cake and celebrated a surprise happy birthday in swalihi. it was just a great experience.

Cozy spacious lodge not far from Arusha airport. Everything was perfect, room, food and service overall. Great attention to detail. In example upon arrival hot water kettle in the room was filled with water. So just a matter of switching "on" when wanting to make hot drinks. Comfortable large bed and balcony.

We stayed here in total 4 nights by extending and extending our stay, as it was very nice place to stay. There is a spacious kitchen that you can cook if you wish. There are many small local shop around this place, we went to buy some veggies and meat to cook by ourselves

The lodge was exceedingly pleasant, comfortable, and friendly with great food. The lodge offered several activities and we made use of two of them during our stay. One was a walk through the nearby village of Usa River where we had a chance to talk with one of the local citizens who was a friend of our guide's. Later that day I went with a guide for a walk around the nearby (15 minute drive away) Lake Duluti. If our stay had been longer, there were other great activities/tours that could be booked.

Everything was amazing- a beautiful property with lovely rooms and shared spaces. The pool area is gorgeous and so peaceful. Was blown away by the quality of the food and the attentive service.

With Uhuru monument reachable in 13 km, Olerai Lodge features accommodation, a restaurant, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Amazing facility in terms of look and feel, ambience was excellent. The photos on the website don't do justice to the facility. Very friendly staff.

Sunbird Cottage is a holiday home located in Usa River. This holiday home also features a private pool. The holiday home includes a kitchen with an oven and a toaster, as well as a kettle. I loved having our own personal chef! He was absolutely amazing! We had a driver that was great as well. Beautiful, relaxing place!!!

We wanted a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay after 16 hours of flying, before and after a birding tour of ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK, and prior to the start of a safari to the larger parks. Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge fit the bill perfectly. Edith, the owner and host, saw to our every comfort and need. Our rooms were well-appointed, clean, and spacious. Meals were served home style and delicious. We enjoyed having tea and soda in the outdoor bar each evening. Edith has literally built the property and gardens with her own two hands and her pride shows and it is well justified. The views of Mt. Meru are as memorable as the warm welcome you receive from Edith and her staff. Give Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge a try if you are staying near Arusha before or after a safari.

With garden views, Airport Planet Lodge is situated in Kingori and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Very close to the airport, shuttle included. My girlfriend was sick and our flight was late in the afternoon the next day, so she was allowed to stay in bed until our shuttle to the airport left. Very kind, great service!
