A very warm welcome from Blandina, James and Kepora. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The mattress was firm and gave us a really good night’s sleep after a long road trip. The chef created some really tasty meals.

There’s a homey feel Kobe Homestay has that draws you in and makes you relax. Been traveling for over a month now and this felt like a home away from home. The decor is so cute! All around the house, you’ll find antiques from the 90s and other decades. The nostalgia definitely hits when you see them. The fact that it is a walking distance from the city makes more special. There are several kiosks to shop if you’ll want to make your own meals.

Beautiful, amazing landscaping; wildlife such as 3 species of monkeys, zonkeys and water buffalo, lots of birds; lovely accommodations with local African decor and art; staff are excellent and make you feel at home; small pool to cool off after a warm afternoon; owners are fantastic; hospitality next to none.

Everything was really nice, the food, the accommodation but most of all the kindness of the people and the home atmosphere! I highly recommend it and I'll come back again for sure.

We wanted a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay after 16 hours of flying, before and after a birding tour of ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK, and prior to the start of a safari to the larger parks. Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge fit the bill perfectly. Edith, the owner and host, saw to our every comfort and need. Our rooms were well-appointed, clean, and spacious. Meals were served home style and delicious. We enjoyed having tea and soda in the outdoor bar each evening. Edith has literally built the property and gardens with her own two hands and her pride shows and it is well justified. The views of Mt. Meru are as memorable as the warm welcome you receive from Edith and her staff. Give Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge a try if you are staying near Arusha before or after a safari.

Went beyond our expectations, it was the most beautiful place we've ever stayed in, the staff are incredible, attentive and made the stay 6* From morning safari walk, too spear throwing, maasai dance and group get together around the firepit. The whole time, we felt like we were living experiencing maasi Village, with the exception of the level of subtle luxury and good standard of food.
