Offering panoramic views of the mountains, Cabana Soarelui Retezat is situated in Hunedoara county, at an altitude of 850 metres. It is located on Nucşoara Valley and surrounded by the forest. The location of the property is just amazing. Vlad and his sister really made our stay so nice.

Sam, the owner, will turn the world upside down to make your stay feel as comfortable as possible. The place is very clean, there is a shared kitchen very well equipped and a shared living room with the coolest fireplace ever. The location has a cool industrial look. We spent 2 nights so during the day we hiked the nearby peaks and during the night we gawked our eyes at the night sky for meteors because of the Perseids. Because of the short stay we couldn't take advantage of all the activities that are possible (ATV's, hot tub, paragliding) but we plan to on our next stay. Thank you Sam for making us feel like old friends.

The location has a splendid garden with hammocks, lighting at night in a bridge over the creek. It has convenient parking and is a 2 minute walk to a small, centuries old castle! The neighborhood is quiet except for charming cows with bells meandering on the road twice a day. They are always improving the property, so by the time you go it will have even more amenities and comforts. You are going to love it!
