Very private. Loved going to sleep listening to the river and waking up to roosters from the farm next door. The setting deep in the mountains features the cleanest air I’ve ever breathed and SO MANY STARS. The craftsmanship of the buildings is astonishing—have not seen anything like this in a new construction, from the exquisite dovetailed carpentry, all the way down to the iron latches for the gates. Even though from the outside it looks like this could be a historic house, the inside has plenty of modern comforts: air conditioning, spa-like bathroom, and even WiFi. Truly amazing how much work and planning must have gone into creating this wonderful venue; I can only imagine it is the realization of a longtime dream.

Very nice combination between maintaining the traditional features of the old house and adding on top all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The owners, Oana and Vlad are welcoming people, doing everything with passion and dedication. I enjoyed spending time with them and exploring the property and the village. Great find and would love to come back doar a longer stay.

Providing mountain views, Casa Nomentana in Vulcan provides accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a tennis court and barbecue facilities. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.... Everything. The house was very clean and spacious. The host was wonderful, they let us stay longer than the check-out time. But the best thing is the yard. It has a football coart, a grill, a pond, hammocks, a swing, it's perfect. All in all, it was a great experience. Thank you!
