I could not be more satisfied. The hotel has a mountain hut vibe, great atmosphere, made of wood, furnished accordingly. We liked it a lot. Great value for the price. It is a family run business, and they are very great hosts. Polite, helping, bringing us some homemade liquor to try out, speaking good English, etc. You can order for a very reasonable price dinner and breakfast as well, which is prepared by the family. Homemade taste, local ingredients, big portions. Wonderful. You have a big plate with all the goods for breakfast and a typical Romanian dish plus a dessert for dinner. The beds were comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. The terrace has possibilities to just chill and relax. There was even a local dog and animals around adding to the vibe. A fireplace outside, also a small playground for the children. Set in nature, close for hikes in Retezat. For sure, I would love to come back. Thanks for everything.

Set in Grădiştea de Munte in the Hunedoara region and AquaPark Arsenal reachable within 33 km, Valea Legendelor offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private... Very private. Loved going to sleep listening to the river and waking up to roosters from the farm next door. The setting deep in the mountains features the cleanest air I’ve ever breathed and SO MANY STARS. The craftsmanship of the buildings is astonishing—have not seen anything like this in a new construction, from the exquisite dovetailed carpentry, all the way down to the iron latches for the gates. Even though from the outside it looks like this could be a historic house, the inside has plenty of modern comforts: air conditioning, spa-like bathroom, and even WiFi. Truly amazing how much work and planning must have gone into creating this wonderful venue; I can only imagine it is the realization of a longtime dream.

Far beyond what we where expecting. Very nice people, excellent view, we had an awesome weekend here. We are going to come back in the winter.

Very nice combination between maintaining the traditional features of the old house and adding on top all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The owners, Oana and Vlad are welcoming people, doing everything with passion and dedication. I enjoyed spending time with them and exploring the property and the village. Great find and would love to come back doar a longer stay.
