The owner was a great communicator & super friendly sending us all the details the day prior to arriving. The place itself is so cosy, spotlessly clean and really just felt like home :) also loved how well equipped the kitchen was — and free wine and coffee was a very welcome touch! Would highly recommend. (Also, definitely try out the coffee shop 'Gato Legal' nearby for coffee & pastel de nata if you have chance!)

Victoria Ocean View Room ligger bara 40 km från Cabo Girão-klippan, och erbjuder boende i Ponta do Pargo med en trädgård, en terrass samt en 24-timmarsreception. It was a perfect ending for our hike through the island. Wine, electric fireplace, and magnificent view to the sunset in Atlantic Ocean. The place also has a small pool with a view to the ocean, but it was too cold for us to try it. The housekeeper, Maria, was very nice and helpful.

Quinta dos Artistas ligger i Santa Cruz och har havsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en utomhuspool, en terrass och en gemensam lounge. A very special place. I didn't want to leave.

Vila Maria Quinta 13 erbjuder en utomhuspool och en terrass och ligger i Calheta, 25 km från Cabo Girão-klippan, 28 km från Porto Moniz naturliga havsbad av lavaklippor och 34 km från Funchals marina.... It was fantastic, beautiful property with very friendly staff.

Casinhas da Laurissilva ligger i São Vicente och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 21 km från Cabo Girão-klippan. This place is ideal if you want to get away from bustle of cities. Location is probably the biggest plus - lots of trails nearby, peace and quiet. For such remote place the accomodation is suprsingly well equipped - pots, pans, cups, cutlery, dishes, microwave, coffee maker. Place was also clean and comfy - in short really great.
