We absolutely LOVED our room and that everything was so open and our bed was looking out on the jungle! The food was amazing, we had different meals and variety every day and overall we just loved the place. We could truly rest there and unwind. They also have a very nice selection of activities and jungle experiences, it is expensive, but if you can afford it, it is truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Meest aardige en behulpzame lodge-eigenaar die we ooit meegemaakt hebben! Huisje was ruim en erg schoon met een badkamer met lekker warm water en staan op een mooi plekje direct aan de rivier. Mogelijkheid om naast het ontbijt ook de lunch en het diner op de lodge nuttigen, ook dit was prima!

Casa Amazonas biedt accommodatie met een restaurant in Puerto Maldonado. Sommige units hebben een terras en/of een balkon met uitzicht op de tuin. Bij de lodge kun je volop genieten van een hot tub. Our stay at EcoAmazonia lodge was excellent. The accommodation was amazing, cute rooms, daily cleaning and the food was the most delicious we tasted in Peru, everything fresh and handmade, different plate every day. Who could imagine a stay in the Amazon could be so comfortable?? The staff in the lodge were friendly and welcoming. The activities in the rainforest went beyond expectations. The staff has put so much work to create paths in the jungle that look natural and make the activities accessible to everybody. Each activity was a unique experience and the fact that this lodge is the last one deep in the Amazon jungle gives you a chance to be as close as it's safe to the wildlife. The guides were all knowledgeable and friendly. Especially, Urbano, he's a star, he could spot animals from a distance and cared about showing it to each person in the group! Also, smiley Victor and lovely Maria. Thank you all for giving us unforgettable tours and making us feel like home in the jungle! And last but not least, we also enjoyed some relaxed days at the lodge hanging out with Jennifer the monkey!! Don't look further, book this accommodation for your trip in the Amazon jungle, totally recommended!!

Corto Maltes Amazonía ligt in Puerto Maldonado in de regio Madre de Dios en biedt bungalows diep in de Amazone-jungle. Er is een gratis pendeldienst van/naar de luchthaven beschikbaar. Very nice lodge, in the middle of the jungle. Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Het ligt op slechts 3,5 uur van de stad Puerto Maldonado. Met de bus bent u er in 1 uur. 2,5 uur per boot. Deze lodge is de enige binnen het Nationaal Reservaat van Tambopata. Fantastic location to experience the Amazonian forest in a safe environment. Let’s be clear: keeping such a hotel working in a national park demands lots of logistics (they’re not even allowed to do laundry on site , everything linen and food is transported on boats and then by hand!). Their team works like crazy to keep this experience great and they can be proud. Of course it’s not a traditional 5* and the insect experience could be rough to some but you can’t imagine anything better in such a remote location. Truly a memorable experience, knowledgeable and welcoming guides. This is one trip we’ll always remember.

La Habana Area de Conservación Amazonica ligt in Puerto Maldonado en biedt accommodatie met een balkon. De eigen badkamer is volledig uitgerust en heeft een douche en gratis toiletartikelen. The place exceeded our expectations! In the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature, great pool to chill out in the heat, wonderful host, we were concerned by the distance from the city at the beginning but you can eat lunch and dinner in the place, and do not need to go to the city. For extra money of course but very good food.

Wasai Puerto Maldonado Eco Lodge ligt op 100 meter van het centrale plein en biedt een buitenzwembad met uitzicht op de rivier. The staff were great and super friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day and the balcony had an amazing view. The room had air con which kept it a nice temperature at night. The shower was brilliant. The restaurant: we tried the salad, the amazonian fish and the pork spaghetti and all were fantastic. The breakfast fruit bowls were the highlight though, aside from the cocktails. A day by the pool was heaven with music, drinks and beautiful sunshine. There were birds, boas and sloths. I didn't want to leave.
