The food was amazing, we had different meals and variety every day and overall we just loved the place. We could truly rest there and unwind. They also have a very nice selection of activities and jungle experiences, it is expensive, but if you can afford it, it is truly a once in a lifetime experience!

The accommodation was amazing, cute rooms, daily cleaning and the food was the most delicious we tasted in Peru, everything fresh and handmade, different plate every day. Who could imagine a stay in the Amazon could be so comfortable?? The staff in the lodge were friendly and welcoming. The activities in the rainforest went beyond expectations. The staff has put so much work to create paths in the jungle that look natural and make the activities accessible to everybody. Each activity was a unique experience and the fact that this lodge is the last one deep in the Amazon jungle gives you a chance to be as close as it's safe to the wildlife. The guides were all knowledgeable and friendly. Especially, Urbano, he's a star, he could spot animals from a distance and cared about showing it to each person in the group! Also, smiley Victor and lovely Maria. Thank you all for giving us unforgettable tours and making us feel like home in the jungle! And last but not least, we also enjoyed some relaxed days at the lodge hanging out with Jennifer the monkey!! Don't look further, book this accommodation for your trip in the Amazon jungle, totally recommended!!

Corto Maltes Amazonía se nachází v Puerto Maldonado v oblasti Madre de Dios a nabízí ubytování v bungalovech hluboko v amazonské džungli. K dispozici je bezplatná kyvadlová doprava na letiště. Very nice lodge, in the middle of the jungle. Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Nachází se jen 3,5 hodiny od města Puerto Maldonado. (1 hodina autobusem a 2,5 hodiny lodí) Tato chata je jediná uvnitř Národní rezervace Tambopata. Wi-Fi je zde dostupné zdarma. Fantastic location to experience the Amazonian forest in a safe environment. Let’s be clear: keeping such a hotel working in a national park demands lots of logistics (they’re not even allowed to do laundry on site , everything linen and food is transported on boats and then by hand!). Their team works like crazy to keep this experience great and they can be proud. Of course it’s not a traditional 5* and the insect experience could be rough to some but you can’t imagine anything better in such a remote location. Truly a memorable experience, knowledgeable and welcoming guides. This is one trip we’ll always remember.

The place exceeded our expectations! In the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature, great pool to chill out in the heat, wonderful host, we were concerned by the distance from the city at the beginning but you can eat lunch and dinner in the place, and do not need to go to the city. For extra money of course but very good food.

Wasai Puerto Maldonado Eco Lodge se nachází 100 metrů od hlavního náměstí a nabízí venkovní bazén s výhledem na řeku. Je možné si rezervovat výlety na kanoe a všechny pokoje mají výhled na řeku. The staff were great and super friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day and the balcony had an amazing view. The room had air con which kept it a nice temperature at night. The shower was brilliant. The restaurant: we tried the salad, the amazonian fish and the pork spaghetti and all were fantastic. The breakfast fruit bowls were the highlight though, aside from the cocktails. A day by the pool was heaven with music, drinks and beautiful sunshine. There were birds, boas and sloths. I didn't want to leave.
