In the midst of a grueling Colca Canyon hike we got to Ribelino's place. In such a remote location we found exceptional luxury: king size bed, linen like a cloud, a wonderful bathroom, huge picture window looking across to the daunting mountain we'd descended the day before AND a balcony. The dinner we had started with appie and soup AND it's 40 minutes to the nearest road...by donkey. Bravo Ribelino! You have created an amazing refuge for travellers and it was exceptional! Thank you!

Llahuar Lodge features a garden, 3 hot spring thermal water pools that is open 24hours. It is located a 3-hour walk from Huaruro waterfalls and 9 km from Canamaconde town. Two things to highlight: how candid Mr. Claudio's family was and how abrupt, grand and welcoming the landscape felt. I'd highly recommend this place for hikers looking for relaxation and couples looking for a honeymoon.
