With mountain views, Sangalle Cielo Lodge is set in Malata and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and seasonal outdoor pool. Free WiFi is featured. Hiking can be enjoyed nearby. The lodge was amazing and the couple who owns it was the sweetest and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The food was great, the accommodation was great, shower was warm, wifi worked. Would definitely stay again if I’m hiking Colca canyon

Spacious stylish new upstairs bedroom with huge bed, balcony paved with local basalt, lovely view across the canyon and so peaceful.

I have stayed in many austere locations, but this is probably the most simplest place I have paid to stay in. It is beautiful. It is so simple, but also was $12 U.S. for 1 night. If it wasn’t for the mosquitos, I wish I could have stayed for a few more days and just decompressed. The dinner had no options. It came and you either ate it or you didn’t (I’m sure they had a vegetarian option). I liked it though. I’m sorry that I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that helped out during the stay, but he was awesome. Thank you for making this adventure great!

The staffs are friendly, room is clean and the meal is good.

The views were spectacular, breakfast delicious, bed super comfy and the water pressure in the shower was great! Highly recommend hiking around the property, and going for the horseback riding tour.

Situato a Cabanaconde, il Paraiso Las Palmeras Lodge si trova nel Canyon del Colca. Potrete usufruire della piscina all'aperto e del ristorante in loco. Beautifully situated place with refreshing pool! The staff were very helpful arranging the transportation back to Cabanaconde since we had decided, after 2 days of trekking, to ride the mules. We were amazed at the skill of the mules to climb such an arduous canyon with us on their backs. Quite an experience!

Two things to highlight: how candid Mr. Claudio's family was and how abrupt, grand and welcoming the landscape felt. I'd highly recommend this place for hikers looking for relaxation and couples looking for a honeymoon.
