Offering a waterfront pool and a panoramic terrasse over islands of the archipelago, El Caribeo is situated on San Cristobal Island - Bocas del Toro. 10 min boat ride from Bocas Town. Our stay was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful. We snorkeled right in front of the property and it was amazing! We were hosted by Romain, who was very accommodating. Our meals were delicious, the drinks were well made. After dinner, we sat and spoke with Romain about his experiences in Panama and the history of the property. This is a wonderful place to stay and exists only out the determination of a group of young people who wanted to live the Panama dream. We highly recommend it!

The stay was extremely unique, off the beaten track and away from the tourist trail we stayed in a beautiful eco lodge which was built into the jungle landscape, waking up here to the sights and sounds of nature was incredible. Even when we were in bed we felt a deep connection to the outdoors. The hosts were amazing, we enjoyed jungle trekking in a extremely bio diverse landscape with experts teaching us about the nature of this incredible place, Abel was able to point out many sloths in their natural landscape as well as many frogs, we also learned about the forest. For us this encapsulated everything we wanted from visiting the Bocis Del Toro.

It's a 30 min or so boat ride from Bocas Town which is what we wanted since Bocas Town has turned into nothing but a party town with extremely loud music till 3-4 in the morning mid week thru the weekend. So it was wonderful. The staff were exceptional and friendly. Alondra went above and beyond for anything we needed. The food was amazing and fresh. They set up dinner each night on our patio for a nice quiet and intimate dinner. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

Fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle and wake up to the sound of the waves! Jungle cabins built on 14 feet stilts to bring you closer to the tree canopy and the wildlife. Maxi and his wife were such lovely hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that we had all the info that we needed about the area, including access to the surfbreaks, which was very much appreciated. Lovely treehouses that were built with love and thought by the owners. Very eco-minded, which we support 100 percent. The cabin was suspended in the jungle in a very quiet location, yet close to the beaches, which were a 5 minute walk away. Every day we could hear the Howler monkeys in the distance and hear and see the wide variety of tropical birds. Listening to the sounds of nature was so peaceful. We loved our stay there!

WOW, we LOVED our stay at Skully’s!! We kept saying over and over how glad we were that we had picked this place to stay, and were sad to leave and go to the next place after 2 days. We even recommended it to a couple we met later, who changed from their original hotel in Bocas town to Skully’s. The location was perfect — away from the town, but we super easy to get to the town by taxi, or as we did the second day, by renting electric bikes from Skully’s. The private beach was incredible — walking right outside our door and seeing the ocean and having lots of beach furniture free to use. They even provided 2 beach chairs in our closet which was such a nice touch. We also loved having the restaurant on site (all of the food was great — would have loved more local options, but we appreciated the convenience and variety) as well as the bar. Both the food and drinks were pricey, but we liked the convenience of them being there. We also enjoyed using the pool tables (billiards) and sitting in the pool/next to the pool when eating. Being able to rent electric bikes right there was great too. Have recommended it to many people since, and would definitely come back!!

The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Ecolodge Cabinas offers accommodation in Big Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon, this property uses solar panels. I wanted to be in nature (green, jungle, listening to the birds etc ) and looking at ocean. View was fantastic. Looking at different birds and howler monkey was fun. I could not see sloths but they said you may see them at night on the tree in front of their dining area. It is very relax and cozy atmosphere. Unique decoration, nature inside and out. It can be basic for some people but Shower pressure was good. Most of the time, I do not need to use the fan, Just breeze from the wind was comfortable. I love everything they offered.

Palmar Beach Lodge is located on the famous Red Frog Beach, within walking distance of the Bastimentos National Marine Park. The property features an on-site bar, restaurant, and a lounge. Palmar was the best holiday place I've ever stayed at. It's very cosy, not crowded, the location is spectacularly beautiful but what will always stay in my heart is the people who make you feel at home. I recommend Palmar to everyone who wants to experience heaven on the Earth.
