Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the sea, The Bay Lodge is located in Pohara and provides accommodation with free WiFi. Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.

Whare Aroha: Retreat to Wellness is set in Pakawau. Some units feature a dining area and/or a balcony. A terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a garden.
