Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. The room, location and service was great! Amazing vegan restaurant (also for non-vegn people) and the stuff is so kind and helpfull!

What's not to like about this place? The view, the space, the bed, architecture, the facilities were all there for us to use and enjoy. This was truly home away from home, actually, it was better. You are woken up by the birds chirping in the morning. Amazingly, the pool was super warm both day and night. We stayed in the pool until 10.30pm and it was warm the entire time. The view was AMAZING! We were there when the paddy was young and green and it provided an amazing backdrop while we swam, one can not look away. En. Niezam provided us with breakfast in the morning (upon request), and it was delish. I think of all the stays I've been at in Langkawi, and this is probably the 101th trip, this was the best place I've stayed at. So good we refused to leave early on the day we depart and extended another half day. En. Niezam was very helpful and polite and was easy to communicate with in person and Whatsapp. He attended to our needs the whole time we were there. Thank you En. Niezam!
