The name Solitary Cottage is an ideal name for someone or for people who would like to be detached from the city and get isolated and reconnect with nature. First of all need to tell you that the road to the property is narrow and recommended to travel by bike or a hatchback or sedan. But after all that challenging roads, here comes the best view with a small property. Actually it's a one bedroom house type property equipped with furniture, beds, fridge, WiFi and all the other kitchen items. Highly recommended for couples, solo travellers, bloggers and writers. The location has good mobile signals even if it's located on a hill. There is a beautiful swing surrounded with beautiful little flowers that attracts most. You can bring your own food and prepare as of your own or you can request the owner of the property to get it done and the food was cooked by local small family. But I rather recommend someone to get Ur food here and prepare by yourself. There is one cute dog 🐶 who's name is Rocky and he's the guardian of the property and well adopted one. Don't forget to share your meals with him . He will direct you through the roads you came by during your checkout. The view is amazing and the climate is cold. Can experience beautiful sunrise with mist over mountains. The safety is 100% and the property is equipped with cameras. There are places you can enjoy watching around the property with the owner's advise. Really good place to chill in a relax mode if someone wants to spend his/her days on a hill alone. 🥰

The view was amazing and the service from booking to departure was really accommodating and great. Very caring host and caretaker, nothing was too much trouble as I was travelling with my family and needed to ensure it was safe and the menu worked with our special requirements. It was really good value for money compared to the other properties in the area. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again next time we come to the area. Loved our stay. We ate a couple of meals from the property and the caretaker gave us vegetables and fruits grown at the premises which was awesome. The property was very new and clean and the internet worked very well in all the rooms we booked.

If I could stay here forever I would. I stayed here cumulatively for about two weeks. I left and then came back again. It's tucked away in Tennekumbura, not far from Kandy, within walking distance to anything you need. Short bus ride to downtown Kandy is conveniently just down the hill. Ideal if you're looking for somewhere relaxing and private but still want access to downtown. Incredible views, great room, wonderful people...couldn't ask for better stay.

It's a big home with a shared dining room and living room. The rooms are huge with individual balconies and modern bathrooms. Views are incredible and the location is very peaceful. The pool was nice and it felt good to relax after a long month of travel. The host, Kalani, was wonderful and helped out with a special request.

Wonderful place with a good customer service. Mr Ravindra who manage the property was very helpful. I visited there on my travel routine and this place is ideal to stay for single or family basis. Stone Cottage asub Kandys, 4,3 km kaugusel Pallekele rahvusvahelisest kriketistaadionist ja 11 km kaugusel Bogambara staadionist. There is nothing we didn't like about Stone Cottage. Beautiful Decor, Clean premises, Amazing landscaping, a very friendly and helpful caretaker and the added benefit of an amazingly sweet and friendly dog.
