This gem of a villa is hidden through the tea fields of Hanthana, super close to Kandy. Sanjaya, the host, has done an amazing job in building this villa and does an even better job at being the nicest host ever. He welcomed us, gave us a lift with his own car a couole of times and even brought us breakfast twice and lunch once. 10/10 experience, would def come back!

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Solitary Cottage Dunhinna is located in Teldeniya, 25 km from Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and 38 km from Bogambara Stadium. The name Solitary Cottage is an ideal name for someone or for people who would like to be detached from the city and get isolated and reconnect with nature. First of all need to tell you that the road to the property is narrow and recommended to travel by bike or a hatchback or sedan. But after all that challenging roads, here comes the best view with a small property. Actually it's a one bedroom house type property equipped with furniture, beds, fridge, WiFi and all the other kitchen items. Highly recommended for couples, solo travellers, bloggers and writers. The location has good mobile signals even if it's located on a hill. There is a beautiful swing surrounded with beautiful little flowers that attracts most. You can bring your own food and prepare as of your own or you can request the owner of the property to get it done and the food was cooked by local small family. But I rather recommend someone to get Ur food here and prepare by yourself. There is one cute dog 🐶 who's name is Rocky and he's the guardian of the property and well adopted one. Don't forget to share your meals with him . He will direct you through the roads you came by during your checkout. The view is amazing and the climate is cold. Can experience beautiful sunrise with mist over mountains. The safety is 100% and the property is equipped with cameras. There are places you can enjoy watching around the property with the owner's advise. Really good place to chill in a relax mode if someone wants to spend his/her days on a hill alone. 🥰

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.... This was a real gem in Kandy! The view was amazing and the service from booking to departure was really accommodating and great. Very caring host and caretaker, nothing was too much trouble as I was travelling with my family and needed to ensure it was safe and the menu worked with our special requirements. It was really good value for money compared to the other properties in the area. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again next time we come to the area. Loved our stay. We ate a couple of meals from the property and the caretaker gave us vegetables and fruits grown at the premises which was awesome. The property was very new and clean and the internet worked very well in all the rooms we booked.

Set 6.7 km from Bogambara Stadium, The Traveller Kandy offers accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. If I could stay here forever I would. I stayed here cumulatively for about two weeks. I left and then came back again. It's tucked away in Tennekumbura, not far from Kandy, within walking distance to anything you need. Short bus ride to downtown Kandy is conveniently just down the hill. Ideal if you're looking for somewhere relaxing and private but still want access to downtown. Incredible views, great room, wonderful people...couldn't ask for better stay.

There is nothing we didn't like about Stone Cottage. Beautiful Decor, Clean premises, Amazing landscaping, a very friendly and helpful caretaker and the added benefit of an amazingly sweet and friendly dog.

Located in Kadugannawa, 13 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 17 km from Kandy railway station, The Cloud Resort provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a... - the location is just outstanding… the view from balcony is another level… this is a place to get relaxation.. unfortunately we could stay only for one day but highly recommended for a longer stay… the design of house is modern cum traditional with a hanging bed which gives slight swings and provide you a comfort to sleep… the highlight is chef - we had lunch, dinner and breakfast with them and the portion was big and lot of varieties…the owner Inthizar and butler Amjad both took care of all our needs and took us to a small hike nearby for a nice view… highly recommend to stay at the cloud resorts
