The girl who checked us in was very friendly and had very clear explanations for everything! She really helped us when we were ill-prepared for the Jomon Sugi hike, which we appreciated a lot! There were complimentary welcome drinks and a dessert on the second day which were delicious. The cabin was clean with all the facilities you could need, plus there was a hose in the front yard for you to clean your hiking shoes. The morning view from the deck was also amazing! Note the accommodation is about 15 minutes drive south of Anbo, so it is a bit out of the way of the main attractions, but it wasn't a big deal as we enjoyed the peace.

TIDA Resort Yakushima 旧 屋久島海の胡汀路てぃーだ situa-se a 34 km de Yakusugi Land e dispõe de um terraço, um restaurante e acomodações com ar condicionado, varanda e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. We loved everything about this place, but the couple who runs it made it even more fantastic. He is an excellent cook, so enjoy at least once the amazing dinner (as well as the japanese breakfast) and she is welcoming you so warm and friendly, you just want to stay longer.

Cottage Yakusugi House apresenta vista da montanha, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito em Yakushima, a 11 km de Shiratani Unsuikyo. Whole house to yourself! Very nice traditional japanese style house on a quiet street. Well maintained and exceptionally clean. Owner was very helpful in making our stay comforting. He's also very experienced with the area so if you have any questions regarding the long hikes and nearby attractions, he's the perfect person to ask and seems happy to help

Cottage Kutsuroki situa-se a 2,5 km de Praia de Harutahama e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. Very good option as Cottage Kutsuroki are standalone bungalows so no noise issues at all. Extra convenience of car parked right at door, easy to load suitcases etc. Very good well stocked kitchen and finally, after days of thin futon beds, nice to have “normal” mattress beds to sleep on! Good heating. Nice shower and bath adequate. Very good location at Anbo
