Yakushima Cottage Morino Fairy offers all-wooden private cottages with a balcony, a kitchenette and sea views. The property has a garden, free Wi-Fi and free parking. This little place was paradise, beautiful view of the water, trees, mountains, and our room had a balcony which we could watch the sunrise from. There was also an outdoor bath, but we didn't end up using it. We stayed for 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. It's about 40 minutes drive from the Miyanoura Port and about 10-15 minutes drive from the Anbo port. A car is recommended, as its not really walking distance from any food places or convenience stores. There is a yummy gelato shop next door though! And you can park right outside of your cottage. Driving up to the cottage, you might almost miss it. There's a pink house right in front of it, but the turn into the cottages is right before that where there is a little sign that said "Fairy". Each day, we were supposed to be out of the room by 9am so they could clean it, and they often left us a treat like mousse and fresh hibiscus flowers. Having to leave early may not be ideal for everyone, but it meant we were out earlier so we could do more things in our day. The bed was super comfortable, best sleep I've had in a while, and the area was so quiet. We had a chicken come visit us 3 out of the 4 mornings there, which was a delight.

At Cottage Morinokokage, guests can rent out a cottage with a hammock. Free WiFi is available in the guest rooms. Clean, comfortable, host was amazing and very helpful.

Set 34 km from Yakusugi Land, TIDA Resort Yakushima 旧 屋久島海の胡汀路てぃーだ offers a terrace, a restaurant and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The accommodation has a hot tub. Great location great hosts. Very clean and comfortable.

Situated 10 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, Cottage Yakusugi features Yakusugi Japanese cedar in its architecture and decor, including its walls, ceiling, pillars and furniture. Beautiful home in a convenient location. Lots of space, fully stocked with everything we needed. We hope to stay here again next time we visit!

Set 2.5 km from Harutahama Beach, Cottage Kutsuroki offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very good option as Cottage Kutsuroki are standalone bungalows so no noise issues at all. Extra convenience of car parked right at door, easy to load suitcases etc. Very good well stocked kitchen and finally, after days of thin futon beds, nice to have “normal” mattress beds to sleep on! Good heating. Nice shower and bath adequate. Very good location at Anbo
