The girl who checked us in was very friendly and had very clear explanations for everything! She really helped us when we were ill-prepared for the Jomon Sugi hike, which we appreciated a lot! There were complimentary welcome drinks and a dessert on the second day which were delicious. The cabin was clean with all the facilities you could need, plus there was a hose in the front yard for you to clean your hiking shoes. The morning view from the deck was also amazing! Note the accommodation is about 15 minutes drive south of Anbo, so it is a bit out of the way of the main attractions, but it wasn't a big deal as we enjoyed the peace.

Das Abendessen und Frühstück ist von sehr guter Qualität, mit viel Liebe gemacht und es schmeckt hervorragend. Eigentlich wollten wir auch mal selber kochen, haben das aber gleich gelassen weil man hier so gut bekocht wird.

In der Nähe der in Yakushima in der Region Kagoshima gelegenen Unterkunft Cottage Yakusugi House befindet sich Scuba Diving Ever Blue Yakushima. Man hat alles was man braucht und es ist wunderschön und sehr gut gelegen!

Very good option as Cottage Kutsuroki are standalone bungalows so no noise issues at all. Extra convenience of car parked right at door, easy to load suitcases etc. Very good well stocked kitchen and finally, after days of thin futon beds, nice to have “normal” mattress beds to sleep on! Good heating. Nice shower and bath adequate. Very good location at Anbo
