the location and views are excellent, the way you can feel the owner care about you by making sure (even if you did not see any staff), all your needs are attended to in the room - number of clean towels, good linen used on the bed, making sure the cabin is clean and everything is working (nothing is broken), enough racks in the shower/bathroom to put your things despite the small size, making sure the cabin is warm when you arrive, making sure you know where to get your keys, the cabins are tastefully done.

Excellent location. Wow view! Easy access even in winter. Perfect place to stop if you are planning a trip in the south of Iceland. Easy communication with staff and they were very helpful with late check-in. Too bad our trip was very short but looking forward to stay there again. If weather allows, definitely the place to watch the northern lights.

Really huge small cottage, it fitted super for me being alone. I loved the position out of the town centre really quite and with a spectacular view.
I was by walk so it is not a problem to move around if you like to walk, the island is small and the owner kindly picked me up at the port and stored my bagagges the last day, as well she dropped them to the portme to the port, so I was able to enjoy all the day of the departure, she was really kind and helpful! I recommend

We contacted the hosts beforehand and asked if possible could we have a lodge which was more away from the other lodges and they obliged . Location was great , easy to collect key from key safe . Owners were easily contactable if we needed anything. The hot tub water was nice and hot and it was clean.
Homely feel to the lodges. Clean and had good facilities to accomodate our stay. Great views and lucky with great weather too. The staff were very friendly and the food on our first night was great.
The landlady is an absolute star. She's friendly and talkative if you want to know things. The lodges are greatly furbished with so much affection. Nothing to add. Would always return.
Breakfast was very good, the cute little lodges were cute and confortable. It was nice to be by the ocean and able to see a sky full of stars.
Breakfast was great, check-in was fast and simple. About the location: it´s 5 minutes from Stjórnarfoss, 50 minutes from Vík and 1 hour from Skaftafell & Svartifoss. The room is great, and the parking lot is close to the rooms/lodges.
Amazing lodges, we were a family of four, and had everything we needed for a self catered lodge. They are small inside, but we knew this, and it worked for us. Great location, clean and comfortable.
This is absolutely the highlight of all of the 6 lodges we have stayed in Iceland and this is the favourate one. Room size is bigger than average and very clean and new. Every room has kitchen which is great. Host is very friendly, we have a great stay.
I loved the openness around the lodges. Did not see the northern lights but can imagine it being perfect for viewing. The staff and breakfast were wonderful.
