Metókhion

The house in general, well furnished and super clean. The garden is a great plus and it really amazed us. We picked fresh oranges every morning from the tree and our host left in the house for us a bowl of figs. A lot of peace around, you only listen to the sound of nature. A very good stay and we will choose Liza's place again in the future if needed to stay in the area.

Our stay at Marcos’ place was simply magical! The peaceful, quiet location made it the perfect spot for a truly relaxing vacation. Watching the stars from the terrace each night was unforgettable, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by Marcos himself made us feel completely at home. His hospitality is unmatched! Marcos truly knows the island and gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, breathtaking beaches, viewpoints, and hidden gems all around Crete. The breakfasts were fantastic, and we especially loved the traditional Greek coffee and the freshly made orange juice he served every morning. We are already counting the days until we can return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic, serene experience in Crete!

Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Very nice original Crete family hostality. Excelent meals of good quality food raised by local farms.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the lodge. The cave was fantastic! Me and my girlfriend had and an amazing experience, the cave was awesome and also kept cool at night so sleeping was great. The location is perfect as it's an easy 15 minute walk into the center of heraklion. Very quiet neighborhood with an excellent restaurant only 5 minute walk away. They were very helpful and pleasant to deal with

View from balcony was lovely overlooking sea. Bed comfortable. Shower powerful. Food delicious although would have like much more gluten free options especially regarding cakes and desserts . Spa was a treat and really helped with my painful shoulder, back and neck. Would definitely recommend safari trip of local area. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful.
The house is amazing. It's equipped with everything one would need for a long or short stay. It's located in a quiet and remote area on the mountain with an unbelievable view. Recommended!
It was in a remote area, the ocean was clear and clean. Overall it’s peaceful. Lovely staff in specifically the hotel.
The house was off a residential street on a narrow alley, so a really private and peaceful spot, complete with local cats. I prefer to lodge in old houses in old towns, and this property fit the bill. The kitchen and bathroom were adequate, bedroom really comfortable, and the rooftop patio a huge bonus. A perfect place to have a light afternoon snack, or a fat cigar and a drink in the evening.

Family Skamagkas were fantastic in every aspect. Mr and Mrs Skamagkas along with their two sons Marko and Giorgo are exceptional hosts with something special they offer to each and every guest. Not only made to feel at home, but a part of the family. Greeted with local delights as well as the odd BBQ thrown in the honor of all guests you quickly realise that this isnt any normal lodging. The facilities and cleanliness are top notch. Expectiations are exceeded and you are left with a very warm feeling. Highly recommended.
The hosts were such warm and caring people. Mary organized a quad safari trip for us, without me or my girlfriend doing anything. The location is great, it is just a few steps (literally steps) from the beach. Food and drinks at the bar was tasty and affordable. Our room was cleared everyday, including changing sheets and towels. We liked the pool as well. It is not very big, however sufficient enough when you want to cooldown after sunbathing. Overall, pretty much everything was great, thanks to Mary and the rest of the Anatoli crew.
Beautiful location very peaceful. , couple of beautiful beaches within a few minutes walk , peter was extremely helpful ,one quick message and all transportation was sorted for my stay. Highly recommend tersanas beach lodges.a hire car would be must if you want to get around.
