Bend in the River Lodge, Stratford-upon-Avon is within 1 mile of the town centre. There is a river taxi service during the day near to the Lodge and takes you into the Marina. We loved the location, literally at the bend in the river!Loved the space and facilities. I must admit to being a little concerned as we had come from a huge place, but if you do as Rob and Denny do and stay tidy and organised it’s easy to stay in the lodge. The living room is comfortable with a huge t.v, excellent for hubby to watch football and tennis. He found himself more than a little distracted by the view however. The river, the swans, ducks and geese are the closest neighbours. The lodge has everything necessary for a great stay! The convenience store is incredibly convenient, right next door to the Crown pub which does a stellar Sunday lunch. The water taxi is a great facility, however it’s only about a fifteen/twenty minute walk to Stratford along Tiddington Road.
