Situated in Stratford-upon-Avon in the Warwickshire region and Royal Shakespeare Theatre reachable within 2.8 km, Bend in the River Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private parking. We loved the location, literally at the bend in the river!Loved the space and facilities. I must admit to being a little concerned as we had come from a huge place, but if you do as Rob and Denny do and stay tidy and organised it’s easy to stay in the lodge. The living room is comfortable with a huge t.v, excellent for hubby to watch football and tennis. He found himself more than a little distracted by the view however. The river, the swans, ducks and geese are the closest neighbours. The lodge has everything necessary for a great stay! The convenience store is incredibly convenient, right next door to the Crown pub which does a stellar Sunday lunch. The water taxi is a great facility, however it’s only about a fifteen/twenty minute walk to Stratford along Tiddington Road.

Location perfect for visiting the Castle and surrounding areas. Lodges very well spaced out and decking at the front of the chalet ideal for enjoying a drink in the evening.
The lodges were very pretty, nicely set up, the staff were very welcoming and kind. Breakfast was included in the room rate, it was quite an average meal but did the job. I loved that we were able to take our dog and they had set up a bed and some bowls for her in the room which was amazing!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Loved the fireplace in the main house, as well as the lodges with amazing big windows to the golf course and trees. Breakfast was amazing and lunch also great! The staff were super friendly and made us feel like home. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and we got complimentary prosecco next to the fireplace, the night before his birthday which was a lovely touch. Will definitely recommend to others.
Just got back from an amazing 2 nights away. For our wedding anniversary. We were even given a bottle of fizz. We had a lovely time from time we got there till we left. Was just perfect. The tipi was just beautiful and had everything you need. It was so clean and tidy that even the bathroom was spotless. We loved it so much. Hubby is booking one of the lodges for February, and I will be coming back in June with the girls. Thank you so much for making our weekend away so beautiful. Xx
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful sharing suggestions for places to visit during our stay. The golf course was great with a nice spot for a drink after a round on the balcony of the restaurant. We had dinner in the restaurant on one evening which was very nice with local produce. The lodges felt very private and had everything you need including a small bar nearby in the main lodge.
The property was close to town, clean tidy and staff were amazing! Bed was super comfortable …. Have been away for just in 4 weeks and have stayed in ALOT of hotels/motels/lodges/BnB’s and this bed would have been the most comfortable and the best nights sleep I have had. Carpark instructions sent prior to arriving, really easy instructions to follow and easily found. Breakfast in the morning was delicious!
Love the wood lodges, this was our second stay here. The rooms are spacious and equipped for our dog (they provided a dog bed and 2x dog bowls). Everything was clean and tidied every day. We love the food at The Kitchen and the staff were excellent and extremely friendly/helpful in advising us on what we could do nearby with the dog. This is one of our favourite places to stay.
Location, Interior design, the whole look. loved how the walkway was connected to lodges.
