Featuring a garden, a terrace, and barbecue facilities, lyne view, log cabin offers accommodation in Carlisle with free WiFi and river views. Well, what a gem!! Absolutely loved staying here. Idyllic, peaceful, lovely and clean, so cosy and the girls enjoyed the play area! Great value for money! Welcome hamper was such a lovely touch, the Prosecco was very much appreciated. Tracey and Dave, the owners, were really friendly and made us feel so welcome. We loved the owners 2 dogs too! A gorgeous break - thank you!

Green View Lodges are family-run accommodation located in the village of Welton, 14.6 km from Carlisle. The pet-friendly accommodation features a leisure suite sauna and a hot tub. Lovely well equipped and very clean. Everything you would need was provided. Homemade cake added bonus, thank you. Animals in paddock and grandchildren loved going out to see them.

A 10-minute walk from Keswick town centre, Lynton Lodge Studio provides self-catering accommodation in the picturesque Lake District. These studios have free parking and WiFi. On arrival the studio was lovely and warm, there was a welcome pack of fresh flowers, chocolates and milk which is a nice touch. The studio is very well equipped also coffee, tea, hot chocolate and sugar were provided. It was clean and comfortable. The owners live next door and are on hand if needed but otherwise respect your privacy. We have stayed twice now, you get the best of both worlds self catering but just the right size apartment better than a hotel room or a cottage we think,, we will be back!

Set in Sedbergh in the Cumbria region, Borrett Escapes - Luxury Pods offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. A perfect location in Sedbergh, and an amazing place to stay. We stayed in the fox pod which was lovely, extremely clean, and had everything you could possibly need for a cosy few days. You can tell that a lot of thought and care has been put in by the owners, with every extra detail like a guide to the area and even milk ready in the fridge adding to the whole experience :) - I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway just a stones throw from some amazing hikes!

Foxgloves and Ivy is set in Cockermouth, 27 km from Buttermere, 20 km from Whinlatter Forest Park, as well as 27 km from Cat Bells. Started with a lovely warm and friendly welcome from the owner who gave us plenty of great suggestions for our stay and even left us a homemade cake. The actual property was in a great standard and super cosy and nice place to relax. Great location but definitely need a car if you’re wanting to go places.

This stay was absolutely gorgeous! It was so clean, warm and cosy! We had everything we needed here and it was so peaceful! Definitely would recommend here 😁
