Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and fishing. Well, what a gem!! Absolutely loved staying here. Idyllic, peaceful, lovely and clean, so cosy and the girls enjoyed the play area! Great value for money! Welcome hamper was such a lovely touch, the Prosecco was very much appreciated. Tracey and Dave, the owners, were really friendly and made us feel so welcome. We loved the owners 2 dogs too! A gorgeous break - thank you!

Green View Lodges are family-run accommodation located in the village of Welton, 14.6 km from Carlisle. The pet-friendly accommodation features a leisure suite sauna and a hot tub. Keswick is 22 km away. Lovely well equipped and very clean. Everything you would need was provided. Homemade cake added bonus, thank you. Animals in paddock and grandchildren loved going out to see them.

Lynton Lodge Studio is just 4 minutes’ walk from the Cumberland Pencil Museum and 15 minutes from the Theatre by the Lake. The pretty Lakeland town of Keswick lies beside Derwent Water and is around 30 minutes’ drive from Ambleside by Lake Windermere. On arrival the studio was lovely and warm, there was a welcome pack of fresh flowers, chocolates and milk which is a nice touch. The studio is very well equipped also coffee, tea, hot chocolate and sugar were provided. It was clean and comfortable. The owners live next door and are on hand if needed but otherwise respect your privacy. We have stayed twice now, you get the best of both worlds self catering but just the right size apartment better than a hotel room or a cottage we think,, we will be back!

A perfect location in Sedbergh, and an amazing place to stay. We stayed in the fox pod which was lovely, extremely clean, and had everything you could possibly need for a cosy few days. You can tell that a lot of thought and care has been put in by the owners, with every extra detail like a guide to the area and even milk ready in the fridge adding to the whole experience :) - I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway just a stones throw from some amazing hikes!

Towels and bed linen are offered in the lodge. Started with a lovely warm and friendly welcome from the owner who gave us plenty of great suggestions for our stay and even left us a homemade cake. The actual property was in a great standard and super cosy and nice place to relax. Great location but definitely need a car if you’re wanting to go places.
