Nauyaca Waterfalls is 28 km from the lodge. Beautiful setting - feels like you’re in the rainforest. We saw monkeys and toucans and loads of different birds feeding on the palm fruits. It was very relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch them! The hosts were also very helpful and responsive on WhatsApp, and the wood cabin was well catered and lovely

The sound of the birds at dawn and dusk and the parrots flying over every evening was unforgettable. We had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked, there were even snacks and drinks to buy if needed and there was a delicious menu to choose from if you wanted to order breakfast or dinner. We had dinner one night and it was really excellent food; we wished we’d done it more often. The pool area and grounds are a little piece of paradise. You can’t get enough of the view from the pool area and the pool itself is just beautiful. the whole property is completely unique and the best place we stayed in a month long trip in Costa Rica. Add to that the wonderful host Susanne, who organized so much for us, and the sweet dog Negrita, we wouldn’t hesitate to come back or to recommend this place to people looking for something truly special.
