We spent 9 days at Jungle Passion Lodge and highly recommend for a true jungle experience. We’re already familiar with Ojochal with the variety of culinary options and extraordinary biodiversity, we were looking for simple lodging for our stay while our home is under construction. We were welcomed by both owners Anita and Pirman when we drove up and shown to our lovely very private casita at the end. We had ample space for our clothes, generous shower with screens on all windows and doors to keep any bugs out while inside. Outside space had comfortable seating for two with coffee table and two chairs at the dining table. The kitchenette fridge and freezer kept our beer and ice cold. A cook plate was provided, but not used. Coffee and maker were both provided. Utensils, cookware and serving dishes for two, along with wind glasses were all there. We enjoyed a Tipico breakfast for two at a nominal charge. The helpings were generous and as delicious as seen in my photo, even better were eggs prepared to order and delivered to our cabin when desired. The pool was clean and refreshing each afternoon with many bird and animals seen. They even provided a complimentary wash & fold of our dirty clothes part way through our visit.

The couple running did casitas was lovely and attentive. The pool was perfectly refreshing and the gardens are gorgeous. Our family would return here for sure.

The lodges were private, in the middle of beautiful gardens near to forests, the pool was a bonus. There was a lovely undercovered eating area to use in the daytime.
We have stayed in a dozen of nice lodges during our 2week travels across Costa Rica but Forest Lodge was by far the best accomodation we've had. The quality of materials and equipment is exeptional. Everything is new and sparkling clean. Beautiful views from the windows and balcony, fantastic breakfast, attentive and very helpful hosts. You are in the middle of the jungle and it is still a walking distance to the National Park, restaurant or supermarket. Wish we could stay longer. :) Thank you Marc! Strongly recommended!
Such a relaxing stay! Lodges are spacious with floor to ceiling windows , kitchen and an extra outside shower.
Restaurant is intimate - just 8 tables, fabulous fresh fish and vegetables.
A romantic place.
We loved the lodges in nature, the pool and cold plunge! Lovely surroundings with the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Short drive to amazing beach or walk.
Superb site, magnificent view, splendid swimming pool, lush garden, comfortable lodge. The architecture of the lodges is very successful. The breakfast on the large terrace is the best way to start a day. Jessica and her husband are friendly and if you need anything, helpful !
The owner Pablo was a wonderful host! From his personal greeting and helpful information to the delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts, we were so well taken care of. The views are stunning and the lodges are intimate. As we were about to leave Pablo noticed a nail in our tire and he immediately helped us with the tire and get the service we needed for the repair. Such a memorable stay!
The lodges were lovely (the best we’ve stayed at in CR). Breakfast was delicious and filling. Marc and Severine were friendly, accommodating and gave us recommendations on things to do. We really enjoyed our stay and would return here and recommend.
It is nestled in the most amazing part of Costa Rica. you have rain forest and beach views here. It is safe and secluded with only a few rooms available. The lodges are also clean, bug-free, and comfortable. You wake up to wildlife every morning and fall asleep to rain almost every night. The hosts are phenomenal and really go the extra mile to make you feel at home. They also have a tradition that makes you want to come revisit even more.
