Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano and Cerro Chato. The breakfast was made to order with fresh ingredients it was delicious !!!! The Mountain View’s were spectacular and the spa was amazing as well

The accommodations regionally furnished and decorated offer a fan, mosquito screens and a seating area. They also include garden and volcano views. The bathrooms have hot water showers .Homemade soap, linens and towels included
Rancho Margot is more than a hotel, it's a community and an sustainable project. For us it was truly an inspiring experience as we could witness first-hand the challenges and rewards that living off-the-grid entail. Rancho Margot's team has accomplished plenty like regenerating a portion of the forest and they invite you to learn about their sustainability practices through their tours and experiences. You can also just enjoy nature, take a hike or swim on their natural pools. It's secluded for a good reason, and we didn't have any reason to leave. We stayed 3 nights but would love to come back!

The kind helpfulness of our hosts. The view and setting Thank you to the amazing family who run the lodgings! They were very kind and attentive! The location is excellent! Highly recommended: The butterfly conservatory which is literally just a few minutes walk up the street is awesome with several stunning walks, views, and stories of its own. The amazing views from all around the property and neighbourhood! Pura vida!
Very friendly staff and excellent organic and gluten free dishes. Nice hiking in the lodges property with interesting wildlife. Good massage in the spa.
The property was large with jungle and cleared areas. Various types of lodging. We chose a small one bedroom private cabana. It was clean comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfortable. Nice views of the Volcano lots of birds came in daily. Toucans, hummingbirds and other tropical birds. The trails through the jungle were nice.
Mystica is a number lodges that are grouped in an extraordinarily beautiful garden. The rooms themselves are simple but spacious and offer everything you need. From the deck the view across lake arenal and Arenal itself - if it is not in the clouds - are absolutely breathtaking, mystic. It is also very quiet. The place is clearly aiming at yoga guests but others are welcomed as well. Dinner and breakfast are okay, but not as excellently Italian as other reviews described.
