Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano and... Great location, nice staff, in the middle of the nature you can see so many plants and animals, it’s just great ! The cacao tour is really worth it and the guide is incredible he knows everything about nature in Costa Rica ! It’s the 3rd time I stay here and I would stay there again and again!

For us it was truly an inspiring experience as we could witness first-hand the challenges and rewards that living off-the-grid entail. Rancho Margot's team has accomplished plenty like regenerating a portion of the forest and they invite you to learn about their sustainability practices through their tours and experiences. You can also just enjoy nature, take a hike or swim on their natural pools. It's secluded for a good reason, and we didn't have any reason to leave. We stayed 3 nights but would love to come back!
