Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area. It features an outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical garden. Lovely designed placed, pool facility and excellent room. They also provide beach towels which is a nice extra!

The Good Life Lodge offers 6 modern and comfortable hotel rooms and a 2 story house, all with beautiful and comfortable new king beds. Good life lodge is a beautiful property and a wonderful place to stay. large spacious rooms overlook the tropical garden and the friendly and hospitable owners made us very welcome. A lot of thought has gone in to this fabulous little lodge, and the attention to detail is extraordinary. we cannot rate it highly enough.

Featuring sea views, Totobe Resort in Jabilla features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Amazing property right on a beautiful quiet beach with hardly anybody on it. A bit of a mission to get there but 100% worth it, the staff were amazing and super friendly it is slightly rustic but the view off your deck is fantastic! The waves are fun for surfing also.

Offering an outdoor pool, tennis courts and massages services, Guacamaya Lodge is located in Paraíso, 9 minutes’ walk from Junquillal Beach. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. The location was perfect for us, close to the beach so easy to go down for a swim and just to sunbathe. I enjoyed being away from a large, busy area but close enough to a local shop that has everything you might need. The rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurant was lovely with a good variety of food, even many vegan options (huge bonus!), a huge selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and the cocktails were VERY tasty. The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and added a wonderful feel to the stay. A big bonus was having the tennis court on-site, it was nice to play a little tennis after days of doing nothing but relaxing!

Surrounded by the jungle and offering a wooden restaurant, palapa roof bungalows and a swimming pool, Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is located 350 metres from Juquillal Beach. Very relaxing all the staff were wonderful the food was great!

Cabañas Cañas Castilla is located on the shores of Sapoa River and 10 minutes’ drive from La Cruz town. It features Orosi Volcano views and one day tours to Nicaragua. The little cabins are really amazing in a really rural area but not too far from the next city. You can see monkeys and sloths in the trees right in front of your cabin. The owners are really nice and marked some hikes starting from the accommodation. The breakfast is really delicious with homemade yoghurt. I would definitely return when I am again in Costa Rica.

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool, Cabañas del Bosque in Nandayure provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the sea, Canta La Rana is set in Bejuco and offers accommodation with free WiFi. I adore this place, the design of the House, the communion with nature, falling aspleep and waking up with the wave of the pacific ocean, watching the sunset… This is an experience i will remember for a long Time, this is the perfect echo of Pura vida, the hymn of Costa Rica. The personel is so thoughtful, every detail was perfect … the information given are on point, for beaches, restaurant. The breakfast was amazing with homemade jam, juice, freshly baked bread, and each day différent, we were waiting for it with impatience. And even a thank you note and they washed our car before leaving without us asking for it …. Thank you for the stay and Hope to be back soon. For info : a 4x4 is needed to go to the House.

Located in Brasilito, Casa Natural offers accommodation with a terrace and kitchen. Complimentary WiFi is available. We were so impressed by this property. The cabana style rooms where really cool and comfortable, within a gated area so while close to the beach there aren't cars passing by. The best part about it is the pool and BBQ area - it's really spacious, has tasteful styling, and there's a hot tub! It was so inviting that we spent a night cooking and swimming there instead of going out. I'd recommend it to anyone! Bonus - we saw a couple of snakes around the room :D

Offering pool views, Villa Tortuga in Nosara offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. A surf oasis a few meters away from Guiones! The rooms are spacious and well equipped and it's nice to have a pool too. Dave the owner was very easy to reach and helpful during the stay.
