Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area. It features an outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical garden. Operators, two expats from Germany, were super friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Location was good.

The Good Life Lodge offers 6 modern and comfortable hotel rooms and a 2 story house, all with beautiful and comfortable new king beds. The lodge features comfortable, spacious and clean rooms with a lovely patio and views over the garden. Holger and his family are wonderful and very welcoming hosts! The location of the lodge is also great - all amenities one might need are within walking distance.

Featuring sea views, Totobe Resort in Jabilla features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Welcoming and friendly staff who cooked breakfast and dinner as we like it. The secluded location off the beaten track. As we were early in the season, we had the whole resort for ourselves (the staff left during the day and the night, which felt a bit strange during the first night as we wondered whether we were safe).

With garden views, Guacamaya Lodge is situated in Paraíso and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The location was perfect for us, close to the beach so easy to go down for a swim and just to sunbathe. I enjoyed being away from a large, busy area but close enough to a local shop that has everything you might need. The rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurant was lovely with a good variety of food, even many vegan options (huge bonus!), a huge selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and the cocktails were VERY tasty. The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and added a wonderful feel to the stay. A big bonus was having the tennis court on-site, it was nice to play a little tennis after days of doing nothing but relaxing!

With garden views, Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is located in Paraíso and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Every aspect of this little gem, situated in the Costa Rican jungle just steps from the Pacific, was amazing. We enjoyed its romantic setting, pretty infinity pool set in a jungle garden, stellar hosts--and chefs!--cleanliness and welcoming vibes, as well as their delicious complimentary breakfasts and other gourmet meals which were available to buy. Our hosts were super helpful and accessible. The rooms are equipped to cook for yourself, and there's a small market about a 15 minute walk up the road--though you'd be missing out on the hotels very good and very reasonable restaurant. The area hasn't become another "Nosara/Miami/Hawaii"--not yet anyway--so come now and enjoy the food, the uncrowded beach, the infinity pool, birding and the howler monkeys.

Featuring river views, Cabañas Cañas Castilla in La Cruz features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. it's great place. nice, quite, clean and lovely. breakfast are brilliant.

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool, Cabañas del Bosque in Nandayure provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the sea, Canta La Rana is set in Bejuco and offers accommodation with free WiFi. Best place of our 11 location trip through Costa Rica. Superb hostmanship, incredible location en fantastic suite and room. could not better.

Boasting a year-round outdoor pool, CASA NATURAL in Brasilito features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. We were so impressed by this property. The cabana style rooms where really cool and comfortable, within a gated area so while close to the beach there aren't cars passing by. The best part about it is the pool and BBQ area - it's really spacious, has tasteful styling, and there's a hot tub! It was so inviting that we spent a night cooking and swimming there instead of going out. I'd recommend it to anyone! Bonus - we saw a couple of snakes around the room :D

Offering pool views, Villa Tortuga in Nosara offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Huge apartment with everything we needed for a family of five with young children. The owner manager welcomed us and was available for anything we needed. We loved walking out onto the Main Street of the village full of restaurants and shops. But the reason you come to Nosara is the beach, and Playa Guiones is simply amazing. Jumping in the pool at this villa completes your perfect beach day.
