With La Fortuna Waterfall reachable in 5.7 km, Arenal Xilopalo offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. Excellent location and facilities. The room was huge, with 3 big beds. The hotel is located into the tropical forest with many birds around.

A csaknem 350 hektárnyi trópusi esőerdővel körülvett Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails szállása az Arenal Nemzeti Park területén, az Arenal-vulkántól 2,7 km-re található. The room was clean and spacious. It has balcony to see the volcano. The lodge has hiking trails. I enjoyed two day solo walk. Well maintained and easy to walk, except river trail. I met only few people on the trail and i was able to enjoy the solitude. I appreciate Greivin at reception helping me to arrange transportation to Mistico to La Fortuna town.

Situated 2.8 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, La Fortuna Natural Green offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The cabins were very cute and quaint in a quiet location off the beaten path. Karen was exceptional and super helpful with getting Transportation arranged to other locations and to activities in the area. She was able to comprehend my bad Spanish. The atmosphere was very laid back and the breakfast was excellent.

Featuring mountain views, Onca Tours & Treehouses in San Rafael features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free... We have stayed in many different places in La fortuna area and for one day we stayed in the tree house in Rio celeste area(limit 100$ per day). We did not want leave. This stay was by far better for a similar price. More comfy bed, clean soft towels, tasty food, nice idea of being elevated while watching birds in trees.

The whole place with the sustainable concept was marvelous. The lodges, common area, whole surrounding basically in the jungle, night tour with Jay, the organic food, juices, ... not to mention the owners. They are so dedicated to their cause and I learned so much of them in this short period I stayed there. When you wake up in the morning and embrace all the sounds, animals, trees, plants - the jungle, you think you are in heaven. I would highly recommend this place to stay. I hope to return one day

Situated in Fortuna, 14 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 7.5 km from Kalambu Hot Springs, Las Pavitas Cottages features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. The house offered a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano and lush green surroundings. The spacious yard was perfect for morning workouts. The bathroom was very well-equipped and roomy. We also made good use of the laundry facilities, which allowed us to take care of our laundry during our stay.

Situated in Boca Tapada, Boca Tapada Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and river views. Incredibly nice secluded location, were many comments about some difficulties with road, however last 14 kms are unpaved in very good condition, just go slower. Super nice and friendly staff. Impeccable clean. lots of birds and animals around. beautiful common rest area.
