The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect. Very close to the city without being on the main roads. Special mention for the sloth tour with Armando which was excellent.

I wanted accommodation were we could see plenty of wildlife and be surrounded by nature. Arenal Observatory Lodge exceeded out expectations. We saw beautiful birds everywhere along with other wildlife. We considered the drive back to La Fortuna to be relatively easy, so did not mind that it was a little bit out of the way. Excellent breakfast and very accommodating and friendly staff. Highly recommend that horse trek here as well.

Les zones comuns i els jardins i boscos que formen Cecropia son preciosos i els tours que ofereixen allà són molt interessants, tant per sapiguer de fauna i flora, com per la iniciativa de la seva creadora… per nosaltres va ser tot un encert i no dubtaríem a tornar-hi. The house offered a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano and lush green surroundings. The spacious yard was perfect for morning workouts. The bathroom was very well-equipped and roomy. We also made good use of the laundry facilities, which allowed us to take care of our laundry during our stay.
