We stayed in main cabin
Fab location on little island in middle of frozen river (winter time). 20 min walk across snow covered rived to the road for pick-up to activities or catch the bus into Kiruna town or Ice Hotel.
Sauna was great - light the fire to heat it up, easy. Log fire in lounge was cosy too.
All rooms have electric heaters so it's warm always, regardless if you light fire or not. Minus 15 outside
Lounge is very cosy and pretty
Staff doing transfers by snow mobile were great - their instructions on lighting fire, getting water and sauna were all good.
We got water from the frozen river for our stay, as described. You can drink this water too (we did and it was fine)
Read description carefully and bring all your food. Transfer is by snow mobile which you book separately )extra charge as explained correctly in description).
Set in Kiruna in the Norrbotten region, JVT Cabins offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A barbecue is available for guests at the lodge to use.

Aurora Camp is such an authentic place, one of a kind. There were many activities to choose from, but our focus was the chance of seeing the Northern Lights. That's why we chose the Panorama Cabin and we were lucky enough to experience the lights two night in a row from the conform and warmth of our bed.
Providing mountain views, Máttaráhkká Northern Light Lodge in Kiruna provides accommodation, a shared lounge, a bar and ski-to-door access. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property.

Perfect location surrounded by nature and away from the city, there are snowshoes and skis that can be used for free. Some activities, such as snowmobiles, have the starting point at the same hotel, since they share an adventure agency.

Highly recommend some of the activities they offer.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the lodge and the bed was comfortable. We also went to the sauna and enjoyed it a lot. Everyone was friendly and welcoming
Staying at Camp Caroli in Kiruna was like stepping into a winter wonderland, but with the warmest welcome you could imagine, all thanks to Stephen, our host. He's not just friendly; he goes out of his way to make sure you have an amazing time. On the safari tour, we spotted some incredible wildlife. And Stefan even showed us around the upcoming Camp Caroli 2.0, which sounds like it's going to be an epic place for family fun under the aurora. Honestly, if you're after the best aurora views, this is where you want to be.
The stuff was nice, the lodge is very good located if you want to calm down.
The breakfast was my highlight.
The cabin is cute and clean.
There was even a sauna but only usuable on stuff time.
The reindeers weren't there but we could visit them in a Samî museum for free.
The cottage is situated at a lake with a great view. Perfect location both for a summer and winter holidays. We had a great view of the aurora right from the cottage. During the winter season the hosts have a nice offering of activities, such as snow scooter driving, dog sledding, a safari tour and more.
The hospitality and engagement from the staff was fantastic. The surroundings are spectacular, and there's lots offered by the lodge in terms of activities. Highly recommended.
nice and rustic. decent facilities. it’s what you would expect for a lodge in the middle of the Swedish wilderness. staff were super friendly and helpful. comfortable cabin and great sauna. managed to see the lights as well which was a massive plus
Very clean and warm inside, breakfast included.Although it remote area but we can see northern lights all night long plus feeding reindeer in Sami museum. What a great experience!
