The property features mountain and river views, and is 13 km from Piteå Golf Club. This was the perfect winter wonderland getaway over new years. The location is amazing on the top of a snowfield. We had it all to ourselves, and we could see the fireworks in the city from the comfy bed. The sauna was an amazing experience and perfect for some relaxation Everything was very well organised and the staff were very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place and more for a real winter escape

During winter, active guests can enjoy snowmobile safaris, snowshoeing and driving cars on ice. Spectacular views and the fact the cabin is located near the national park, where you can see and encounter wild animals. During our stay, we encountered reminders on 3 different occasions, but foxes were also common.

WiFi and parking are free. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
