This lodge is amazing. Juan and his wife were wonderfully hospitable. They did everything to make our stay perfect. One of the best parts of our trip to Peru. The food is fantastic and the trips on the lake were wonderful and Juan told us all about life on the lake for the Uros people. We don’t want to leave. Sunny during the day and cold at night. The comfiest beds with loads of blankets and hot water bottles.

Wonderful location of property owned by great people. They arranged everything, including Puno pickup, transfer, meals and trip among floating houses. There is a stunning wildlife surrounding this place.

We loved staying at Titicaca Dora. The room was spacious and beautiful, perfect for relaxing and gazing out on the lake. The owners were friendly, reliable and accommodating when we needed to be driven via boat back to the mainland. Meals were served to us in the room and were excellent. I highly recommend staying at Titicaca Dora if you are spending time at the lake.

It was just as advertised. A wonderful tranquil location for those liking for peace and quiet and visiting the friendly hosts Mama Lea and Papa Mario. It was a great value and the meals were outstanding

If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead.
There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great.
The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty.
Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them.
One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway.
We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.

We enjoyed our stay here once we got settled in. You have to think of staying on any of the islands more like glamping versus a traditional hotel. There is no power other than 12 volt plugs to charge your phone plus overhead lights. The hot water is solar powered so no sun, no hot water (though that didn’t happen while we were there). Once you understand that you can enjoy it. The rooms were definitely the best quality of any places we saw on the islands. Very nice linens and plenty of covers if it gets cold. I liked that they didn’t nickel and dime you for excursions. Included in the price is all meals, use of a tandem boat/kayak, rides on the reed boat, and a visit to the main floating island area. The lodge is absolutely quiet and peaceful and the rooms all come with areas to relax over the water. Pretty good food, though simple. The hosts were unfailingly willing to please and very nice people who will share their history living on the lake.
