We had this best two nights here. Delia and her family are warm and friendly people. Thank you so much for opening up your island to us! Amazing location. The bed was so big and comfortable. Delia added extra water bottles at night to keep it warm. We slept like babies!!! And the food was delish! Delia is an amazing cook. We really enjoyed learning about the Uros community. The location is a floating island (Uros) and the houses are built on the island owned by (the family of) Carlos. You really feel part of the family! They took great care of us and gave great tips on where to go (like tour to the Island Taquile and Ruines of Sillustani): and arranged it for us (and transported us by boat to the Harbour of Puno everytime for free for that transit).

Amazing floating house with great view and all facilities to relax and enjoy the place. Wilson and his family are great hosts always ready to help with anything. I found myself in a situation where I needed extra help and they have been precious. In the house there is hot water and some board games, plus they have kayak you can go around with. Dinner and breakfast were also great!!

We had a wonderful stay at VIP Flotante. Lina and Leonardo made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to help us have a wonderful time on the uros islands. The room was very clean and cozy. The decor was very nice and traditional and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. They also cooked us lovely food and even helped us organise some tours. The nights were chilly so they prepared us hot water bottles which was very kind. A wonderful stay and a great way to really get to know the Uros islands!

Uros Titicaca Lodge is a must if you are wanting to do a homestay, experience Lake Titicaca, and just slow down. It is located away from the other touristy accommodations on Uros Island (about 20 minutes from the port by boat) so it is very serene and tranquil. You'll see the occasional boat go by, but the only people around are the other guests. I loved having my own deck to just relax, read, and take in the surrounding beauty. Ivan was a wonderful host. He offers a couple of boat tour options where you can experience how local families are living and sustaining themselves on the lake. A hearty breakfast is included, with lunch and dinner available at an extra cost. The food was delicious. I wish had booked an additional night!
