The villa is very big and has a lot of potential. The staff is amazing, Appu is a really good coocker, he made us a beautiful and delicious dinner (fish and chicken bbq) and an amazing breakfast. We had Safari with Ravindu and he was amazing! He found all the animals and explained us lot of things.

This is the most worthwhile hotel on our Sri Lanka trip! The photos cannot fully capture the comfort and beauty of the hotel! The wooden cottage we lived in was located in the forest and was very comfortable! The hotel and the other side of Jetwing Yala share a buffet and beach bar. The staff is very friendly! No matter what our needs are, the staff comes to serve us immediately. The food at Jungle Hotel is delicious! This is definitely a place worth coming back to!
Providing pool views, Yala Leopard Lodge in Yala provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace.

This lodge is perfect for exploring Yala. Set in the most beautiful, peaceful location, only 15 mins from the National Park. The hospitality was some of the most attentive, kindest, and professional that we have ever received. Priya and his team went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even showed us around the local area and made a real fuss over our son,who celebrated his birthday during our trip. They even took the time to teach us how to cook the amazing food that we were treated to each day.
The most amazing experience that we will treasure for years to come.
Thank you all so much.

Very remote location in the wilderness. We saw water buffalo bathing in the evening. Very peaceful surrounded by wilderness. Loved it :)

I would describe my stay at Single Trees Yala as more of an immersive experience than a hotel stay, which I think is why most people would book a treehouse stay near a national park anyways! The staff couldn't do enough for you, they served me an enormous dinner when I arrived (although granted there was only one option) and had a lovely breakfast laid out for me when I returned from my safari tour.
The views from the treehouse were stunning, it definitely felt as if you were immersed in your environment. The lack of wifi wasn't even an issue because it's well stated before booking but the hosts will happily hotspot you if you need anything urgent. Overall it was a mixed experience but I've detailed some factors in the improvements section which I feel like if addressed, would make this more of an 8/10 stay rather than a 4.
Offering a restaurant, Koragaha Lodge - Yala provides a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of the guests. The air-conditioned accommodation will provide you with work desk and seating area.

Koragaha Lodge in Yala Park was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, Hadley and his team made us feel incredibly welcome. The lodge itself was beautiful, with luxurious, clean rooms and stunning grounds full of life. One of the highlights was arriving to see a troop of monkeys feasting on mangoes right from the trees - a wonderful start to our stay.
Wildlife was abundant, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the various birds and animals while relaxing by the pool. We also booked a full-day safari through the hotel, which turned out to be perfect. The jeep and driver were excellent, and we opted to have a naturalist (Sami) join us - a choice we’d highly recommend. His expertise was invaluable, as he spotted animals we never would have seen on our own and shared fascinating insights throughout the day. We felt incredibly lucky to witness two leopards, including one on the hunt, which led to some amazing photos and videos.
The culinary experience was another highlight, with the lodge’s chef providing delicious meals throughout our two-night stay. The only regret was not staying longer! Koragaha Lodge is truly a gem, combining luxury with an intimate connection to nature. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Yala.

This majestic treehouse is a very cool experience for travelers and wanderers! It is located outside the city, in a very peaceful and quiet area! Everything resembles nature, the house is wooden and very comfortable! The beds have mosquito protection, very important for keeping insects off you! The shower is open, with no roof, so that you can actually stare at the stars or the sun! Our breakfast was adequately enjoyed and the housekeepers were lovely! If you’re afraid of bugs and you want to challenge yourself, I would definitely recommend staying there since you’re actually in the woods, experiencing a more natural environment!
Offering mountain views, Elephant Arcade in Tissamaharama offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant.

Quiet, clean place, with beautiful view on the lake. Tucans are resting on nearby trees. Lovely, friendly hosts, who will arrange you a tasty breakfast for safari, as well as everything you would require :)
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The staff was perfect, I can only say that the experience was perfect. We were there for a night to attend a safari. We asked the staff a day before, he managed to do it, they book online ticket for us so it’s was faster than the other jeeps.
The dinner and the breakfast under the tree is amazing and beautiful !
If you want to live a real safari experience this is the lodge !
We are two French people and we can guarantee that the tent is clean, AC helps a lot and the shower is beautiful 😍
Thanks again for your kindness !
The perfect place for an authentic safari glamping experience - sitting out under the stars at night and listening to the sounds of nature. The lodge is run by a lovely family who are friendly and professional. They also cook delicious food so I highly recommend having a candlelit dinner at the lodge!
Beautiful, comfy and spacious safari tent. Lovely outdoor area with a real safari feel. Amazing food served under the stars each night. We went on a safari organised by Ranakeliya lodge and owner Thisara joined us which was a pleasure and great experience. 100% recommended this place
Boutique safari style hotel, reminiscent of an expensive African lodge. Quiet location on the edge of rice paddies with only 8 guest rooms. Fantastic pool and bar area. Large rooms and bed. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, they were all very eager to please.
A stunning property with only a few guests.
We stayed in the tented lodge for one night. The lodge is amazing. It is beautifully built, very clean with mosquito nets on every entrance and window. The open air bathroom rounded up the glamping experience. There is electricity and even wifi in the tents. We booked two safaris and one starlight BBQ. The safari organisation went smooth and the guides were really good. The dinner was outstanding and one of our highlights of the whole vacation. The owners are super friendly. Would definately recommend!

The lodge is really nice and well aligned with nature - beautiful view from the rock just beside of the main building. Very quite - just nature sounds. There is also a small and warm temperatured pool that invites to relax after a safari day in the yala national park. The staff is really friendly and supportive - always smiling. We really liked it here.
Unbeatable location, right next to a beautiful secluded beach and only 15 minute drive from Yala national park. The hosts are fantastic and have created a very special place, we felt like guests rather than clients. The home cooked dinner was amazing (likely the best culinary experience we’ve had during hotel stays), and it’s very nice to be able to chat with other guests lodging at the resort. Hosts can also help arrange safaris (but you can book directly, if preferred). I loved it so much that we came back twice :) can only recommend!
Everything is fantastic! We stayed here for two nights while going on safari in Yala with the all inclusive package. The staff at the Lodge were wonderful, and gave us everything we needed. The meals were delicious with lots of different menu options to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable with good aircon. The pool was also great. The perfect place to stay in Yala!
This lovely lodge was like your own little house. It was near to the owners house so you felt safe but had a lovely rustic feel with lots of nature surrounding you. Very clean and good size bed. Air conditioning was great. Family and owner were extremely friendly and welcoming. They cooked amazing authentic food. The bbq under the stars was a fabulous touch. Great proximity to Yala National park for a safari. The lodge arranged everything.
